General Conditions for Entry:

All Entrants must comply with the requirements of the EAORA Notice of Race Part 1. 

 

Entry Fee:

£35.00. Electronic payment to WMYC, Sort Code: 20-22-67, Account: 70947296 (Reference: Race & Yacht Name).  Late entries accepted at the discretion of the Organising Authority.

 

Entries Close:

Friday 10th September 2021

 

Warning Signals:

First Warning Signal - 0755; Refer to EAORA Notice of Race Part 1 for Class Handicaps.

 

High Water:

West Mersea 1120 BST 4.4M    Ramsgate 2310 BST 4.7M

 

Safety:

World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations Category 3 plus Category 2 Life Raft.

 

Start Line:

The start line will be the West Mersea Yacht Club Line.

 

Course:

The course of approximately 60 miles will start from West Mersea, pass through the Wallet and cross the Thames Estuary to finish at Ramsgate.

 

Finish Line:

The finish line will be the Royal Temple Yacht Club Line.

At the Royal Temple Yacht Club, Ramsgate after the race.

Notes:

Covid-19 – All racing will be subject to compliance with any Covid-19 regulations that happen to be in force at the time and their impact both on and off the water. 

 

Dining, Launch and Mooring details at West Mersea & Ramsgate will be available in the Sailing Instructions.  Competitors are expected to make their own berthing arrangements at Ramsgate.
